  • Many Muñoz presents her new television project, in which she will be accompanied by big names in the international gastronomy scene.

  • Cooking, chatting, and good advice are all part of the producer and communicator’s new proposal.

The Mexican chef Many Muñoz informed the press about her return to television with her new project “Many y algo más” (Many and More). The press conference took place at the Instituto Francés de América Latina (IFAL) in Mexico City, where the culinary communicator said she does not know the magic formula for success. She took the occasion to voice the opinion that one of the most important messages she wishes to communicate to her audience is for women to create in their own homes: to eat with their children whatever they cook together at least once a week.

The program has been airing Tuesdays from 8:00pm to 8:30pm since last March on the México Travel Channel – channel 151 of the Izzi Mexico City cable system. Reruns air throughout the week at different times, allowing viewers to catch up if they miss it.

Many Muñoz does not think of herself as a chef. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and has studied the culinary arts in Mexico as well as abroad, most notably at the Mexico campus of Le Cordon Bleu, The Culinary Institute of America in New York, the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France, as well as Hotel Management in Lausanne, Switzerland, among others.

Álvaro Cueva, the critic and journalist, considers Many Muñoz to be the best culinary host in Mexico, and in her new program, Many hopes to present to the audience something positive they can stick to in their day-to-day lives, and contribute with her culinary know-how. She also shares interviews and recipes with big names from the international gastronomy scene, since throughout her career she has had the chance to interview chefs such as Carmen Ramírez ‘Titita’, Julián Serrano (2 Michelin stars), and even Mr.  Joël Robouchon (29 Michelin stars, when adding all of his restaurants around the world).
